strawberry rhubarb crumble
I'd never had rhubarb before I moved to New Haven - I had only heard of it in books (Redwall anyone? Anyone?). And now that I have, I can't wait for next summer so I can bake this Strawberry Rhubarb Crumble from Smitten Kitchen again. It's sweet and tart and crumbly and makes your kitchen smell like heaven. It's also really hard to mess up.
